TEA Academy’s board meetings are held on the (second Saturday or Tuesday) of each month from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., in the Resource Center of the school.

I want to tell everyone about this amazing school, and the loyalty, kind; and extraordinary leaders of TEA Christian Academy. I know as a parent, I felt so safe, and secure in knowing that my child was in the care of people who not only teaches her, but also treats my child as if she were their own. Where else would you find that but here? My eight year old daughter, Ehmiya, was teased since starting kindergarten, at _____and no one did anything. Before she started attending TEA ACADEMY, actually two years before, I called and spoke to Mrs. Washington; I was just trying to find out the cost of the school, and was telling her about my daughter's ordeal.

Ehmiya was not only bullied, but she also had been beaten by seven girls, as four teachers watched. The teachers stated… that they did nothing because she didn't look like she was in any distress. This is when Ehmiya began to make up things to either stay out of school, or to be checked out. The last day she attended _____, I checked her out of school, and once she was home, she was walking into the bathroom and asked me, if I would be mad, or sad if she killed herself. I didn't realize that magnitude of damage that this had caused my daughter.

I swore that I wouldn't make her go back to that school. The next day, I called this private school called TEA Academy, to seeing if I could afford to pay for her attendance there; unbeknownst to me, that the board of education had already learned about my daughter, and was investigating the severe bullying, my daughter had experienced, and a psychologist diagnosed her with depression, associated with being bullying. Mrs. Washington was a person, who only knew about my child being bullied; so, she acted without ever knowing us; and even offered to let my baby attend the Academy for no charge. No one had done anything for three years, and this amazing lady stepped in with only my words. I was in awe! She along with her supportive remarkable husband, Mr. Victor Washington, and the exquisite staff, and students have taken us in, and treated us like family. Mrs. Washington, also reached out to some people, and has even gotten counseling for my daughter free of charge.

Whenever anyone asks about suggestions on a good private school, to send their children, my daughter Ehmiya, always say proudly, with a smile… "My school… TEA CHRISTIAN ACADEMY!" I will always be indebted to you all.
